The smoker has a burn plate in the bottom to lift the smoker fuel above the bellow hole to push the air in and under your fuel to make it light easier and blow smoke very well. Hook wire so you can hook your smoker someplace safe and out of your way. No more between the legs and burn yourself or on the ground and start a fire or trip over it, and of course the most kicking it.
